Starting Point & Challenge
I wanted to develop a personal website that not only showcases my projects but also impresses technically as a reference.
Website builders couldn't compete in either performance or creative freedom, which is why I opted for a custom solution with Astro and Tailwind.
Approach & Implementation
The portfolio is built on Astro, making the site load extremely fast through static delivery. TailwindCSS provides a clean, minimalist design, while GSAP contributes subtle micro-animations that refine the user experience.
Hosting is done on a private VPS with Plesk, including a self-configured CI/CD workflow.
Result & Impact
The project achieves the maximum score of 100 in all Lighthouse categories: Performance, SEO, Accessibility, and Best Practices.
With its clear structure, bilingual content, and thoughtful SEO optimization, the site has become the central hub for my projects, case studies, and contact inquiries.
